The business case for the Digital Product Passport
Compliance is a given. What's next?
From cost item to future investment: what compliance itself delivers, what comes on top along the chain from supplier to end customer, and which arguments win over leadership, IT, procurement and marketing.

What it's about
That the Digital Product Passport is coming is settled. ESPR and the Batteries Regulation have anchored it in law, and delegated acts define, product group by product group, what it must contain. For most companies, a different question is still open: what does it bring your company, through compliance itself and beyond?
Compliance itself delivers more than many expect: once you consolidate product data properly for it, you have a verified, unambiguous data foundation. That saves alignment with suppliers, speeds up responses to authorities and retailers, and reduces errors in catalogs and on marketplaces.
The Digital Product Passport connects the entire chain, in B2B as in B2C. Set up as product data infrastructure rather than a mandatory data set in one department, every step draws on the same data.
In the webinar, Deborah Walsleben and Jens Herzog show which use cases the Digital Product Passport delivers, backed by examples from live projects. And which use case wins over whom internally.
45 minutes, one throughline

One infrastructure, many applications
Why the Digital Product Passport is more than a mandatory data set, and what that means for your setup. With Jens Herzog.

Practice, not promises
Examples from live projects show what implementation looks like. In the Q&A, you get answers for your specific situation.

Who will guide you through the session
Deborah Walsleben brings together regulatory requirements, data strategy, and customer experience, and supports companies in the fashion, electronics, and furniture industries in implementing their Digital Product Pass. In the DPP Masterclass and at industry conferences, she breaks down complex DPP topics into concrete implementation steps.

In the webinar, he will demonstrate the use cases companies are building on their Digital Product Passport and how this can be used to secure internal funding and allies.
Who this is for
For drivers and decision-makers
Compliance
Meet the obligation, clean up your data foundation and gain internal allies who carry the project with you.
Leadership
Assess the Digital Product Passport as an infrastructure decision, not as one department's compliance line item.
Product & IT
One data model that supports several applications, instead of parallel point solutions per team.
Marketing & CX
Use the product as your own channel, to end customers in B2C and to retailers and business customers in B2B.
Procurement
Request supplier data once and reuse it for compliance, retail and reporting.
Sustainability
Put reporting, take-back and circular models on the same data foundation.

What You Need to Know Before Registering
Do I need prior knowledge?
No. We assume you know what a Digital Product Passport is and why it's being introduced. For the basics, we recommend the free DPP Masterclass.
I can't be there in person.
Register anyway. Everyone who signs up gets the recording and the use case matrix by email afterward.
Is it free?
Yes. The webinar is free, you only need a business email address for Zoom access.
How technical will it be?
It's built for practitioners and leadership. We show use cases and their impact on the business, not interface details.
My industry isn't listed here. Is the webinar still relevant?
Yes. The use cases and examples come from different industries, and the logic behind them applies to every company with physical products on the EU market: one data foundation, several teams using it.
How close is Narravero to the standards?
Thomas Rödding, CEO of Narravero, is Co-Chair of CEN-CENELEC JTC 24 and Vice Chairman at DIN, where he works on the European standards for the Digital Product Passport.
Can I bring my own questions?
Yes. Already in the registration form, and from 2:35 PM in the live Q&A. During the session, you can ask via chat at any time. Anything left open, we answer by email afterward.
