On 18 February 2027, the transition period ends: EV batteries, industrial batteries above 2 kWh and LMT batteries will require a digital battery passport, or they can no longer be placed on the EU market. The date is fixed by law. The remaining access-rights details are expected to be clarified through further implementing rules; in the webinar, we classify the latest status. The real question is no longer if, but how: Are you affected at all, even if you don’t manufacture batteries but build them into products or import them? Which of the 90+ relevant data attributes, with mandatory, conditional and voluntary fields depending on battery type and use case, do you already have, and which are missing? And what about BMS connectivity, IoT infrastructure and dynamic data? For most affected companies, the biggest worry isn’t the QR code, it’s an IT project spiralling out of control. The good news: much of that isn’t actually required by the regulation. This webinar shows the proportionate path, concrete and without panic.
