Free PPWR readiness check · 30 minutes
Would your PPWR documentation stand up to an official request?
A free 30-minute call with our PPWR experts. You tell us where you stand, we assess it against what the regulation requires.
- Clarify which role you hold under the regulation, and for which packaging
- Test your documentation against the ten-day deadline for market surveillance requests
- Set the sequence: what matters now and what only follows in 2028 and 2030

What we cover in the 30 minutes
No product tour. We work on your actual packaging portfolio.
Role and scope
The obligation lies with whoever sells under their own brand, not with the plant that manufactures the packaging. We clarify which of your packaging is covered and which is not.
Your data situation
Where materials, weights and evidence come from today, who maintains them and in what form. This is usually where the bottleneck is, not in the technology.
The ten-day test
We walk through a reasoned request from market surveillance: what would you have to provide, and how long would it take you today?
Sequence and what follows
What comes first, what can wait until 2028, and whether the same data basis will later carry the product passport under the ESPR.
Is this call right for you?
The PPWR cuts across departments. We start from your role.
Evidence that stands up to a request
You want to know whether your documentation meets the ten-day deadline and where gaps remain between the role model, the declaration of conformity and EPR registration.
Data from the systems you already have
You want to understand how materials, weights and supplier evidence come together from PIM, ERP and spreadsheets, without a second system alongside them.
Build it once, not twice
You decide whether the PPWR becomes a separate project or part of the same data basis that will later carry the Digital Product Passport under the ESPR.
That is how long you have to supply market surveillance with the technical documentation electronically. If you only start collecting it from your suppliers at that point, you will not make it. Regulation (EU) 2025/40, Art. 15(10)
What we offer
What we deliver for the PPWR: the digital packaging record
So you know what we will be talking about. The call itself stays a conversation, not a demo.
One record per packaging type
Components, materials and individual weights in one object, with version status. New supplier, different material, different production site: every change creates a new version instead of a new spreadsheet.
Evidence sits in the record
Source, method, validity and approval status for each piece of evidence, plus the change history and the affected products. Your technical documentation is built from this, instead of being pieced together again before every request.
One data basis, several outputs
The same record produces the proof of conformity for the packaging, the volumes for your EPR reporting and, later, the packaging information in the product's Digital Product Passport.
With a plan or from scratch: both are a starting point
The PPWR is new for everyone. The question behind it is not: bringing product data from many systems together so that it becomes reliable evidence.
You have already started
Then we check your status against what the regulation actually requires and look for the places that would need rework later. The most common finding: the evidence exists, but it is neither assigned to the packaging nor versioned.
You are starting from zero
Then we set the sequence: a first packaging family, the source systems behind it, and from that a template the rest runs on. The duration depends on the number of your source systems, not on the number of your packaging types.
Regulation (EU) 2025/40
For reference: what has applied since 12 August
The PPWR is in force, but it applies in stages. Solving everything at once today ties up the capacity you will need in 2028.
Applies since 12 August 2026
- Role model: who carries the obligation and who only supplies
- Conformity assessment and EU declaration of conformity before packaging is newly placed on the market
- Technical documentation, available electronically on reasoned request
- EPR registration, separately in each member state
Coming later
- Harmonised labelling from August 2028 at the earliest
- Digital data carrier for certain reusable packaging from February 2029 at the earliest
- Recyclability and minimum recycled content from 2030
- Details and formats depend on implementing acts that have not yet been fully adopted
Frequently asked questions about the call
How does the check work?
Is the call really free of charge and without obligation?
We have our products packed under our own brand. Are we even the responsible party?
